About Us
We handle the entire process of tobacco from planting to harvesting as a finished product in our farm located in Filadelfia, Santa Cruz, Guanacaste, Costa Rica.
Everything is handmade, we use only the best quality to elaborate the different cigars like:
splendid or churchil, robusto, pyramid or torpedo or corona etc.
MAR was launched as a new label in 2022 as an idea of the three cigar aficionados Marcel Christen, Alain Held and Ralph Zumbühl. Thereby the first trial production is a pure Esplendido production from the best tobacco leaves from our factory. Over time, other variants are to be produced.
Selection
Currently we produce MAR esplendidos and sell them to select connoisseurs in self-produced wooden boxes of 20 pieces. We plan to quickly expand our range and selection to different sizes and tobacco styles, according to our clients’ desires.
